Jerry Pullins, President of SeniorCare, has been in El Salvador this week digging water wells in various villages. He says it is very hard work but very successful and rewarding! Looking at this picture, it looks like he is having a lot of fun and making new friends, as well!

“My mother has been a resident here for a year. We looked at several facilities in the area and found none that come close to creating such a safe and comfortable home environment. The house is spotless, well maintained inside and out. The garden and walking path are enjoyable year round. The residents are well cared for. Mom’s clothes, hair, nails always look great. They know her many stories and how to respond specifically to her when she is upset. They work with the family to keep her medications to a minimum. They sit with her, hold her hand and talk with her when she is confused or needing a little extra TLC. They are very welcoming to the family when we visit. “My dad lived at SeniorCare Homes’ Waveny Park House for more than two years. It was a great experience for him and our family. Think about it…in a typical Alzheimer’s care facility, there is one staff person for every 25 or 30 people. That is a nearly impossible job.
