Ashley Cooper Entertains at Sagamore!

SeniorCare Homes Sagamore welcomed Ashley Cooper earlier this week! Ashley brings the music of the 30s, 40s and 50s to life with his amazing singing and dancing! There were toes tapping, hands clapping and many residents were singing the songs along with him.Ashley was dubbed the “Nursing Home Singer” in the June 22nd issue of the Kansas City Star Magazine. He averages 40 shows a month and has become a favorite at over 150 senior living facilities in the Kansas City area.We definitely look forward to having Ashley visiting us again soon!

They have a lot of programs and activities for the residents, so they are not just sitting around staring at the walls. They also involve the residents in daily activities when possible. “My mother has been a resident here for a year. We looked at several facilities in the area and found none that come close to creating such a safe and comfortable home environment. The house is spotless, well maintained inside and out. The garden and walking path are enjoyable year round. The residents are well cared for. Mom’s clothes, hair, nails always look great. They know her many stories and how to respond specifically to her when she is upset. They work with the family to keep her medications to a minimum. “My dad lived at SeniorCare Homes’ Waveny Park House for more than two years. It was a great experience for him and our family.
