Position Title: Support Manager
Responsibility and Schedule
The Support Manager is a key position for the finest Alzheimer’s care provider in Kansas City. SeniorCare Homes (seniorcare-homes.com) provides professional Alzheimer’s care for up to eight residents in each of our beautiful neighborhood homes. The homes are fully licensed and currently hold the highest zero-deficiency status with the State of Kansas. We are a successful, family owned business seeking a talented individual looking for the chance to grow and be rewarded for hard work and success.
The Support Manager will be working approximately 20-25 hours per week. This time will be focused on the administrative office and remote locations depending on the project. The position reports to and works closely with SeniorCare Leadership.
Major Responsibilities
Office
- Coordinate/track Hy-Vee and COSTCO orders
- Monthly copy machine count
- Create, schedule and confirm monthly Resident Activity calendars
- Monitors office faxes
- Scan resident files to Fortiviti and into Egnyte
- Provides support and informational updates to all houses
- Completes new/deceased resident files and assists with move-ins and move-outs
- Scans monthly long-term care insurance documents to providers
- Assists with printer/fax/cable TV trouble shooting
- Assembles marketing packets and other marketing order fulfillment
- Schedules resident outings and notifies families
Human Resources
- Background and reference checks on new employee hires
- Employee verification of credentials
- Scanning employee files to Fortiviti and into Egnyte
- Tracking employee anniversary and birthdays
- Assures timely completion of benefits package paperwork
- Setting employee monthly moral contests
- Coordinating social outings for the leadership team
- Scheduling leadership development and house meetings
- Oversees annual employee in-service training program
- Coordination of new employee orientations
- Assists with Payroll preparation
- Back up coverage for staffing on-call
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills
- A positive outlook and sense of humor
- Knowledge and comfort with Microsoft Office and Excel and Apple products
- Ability to communicate (written and verbal skills)
- Knowledge of basic Human Resource functions
- Willingness to grow and work as a team player
- Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Compensation
- Hourly dependent on experience
