Fall convertible rides at SeniorCare Homes

SeniorCare has been enjoying convertible rides this week at all the homes. Residents have been talking all summer about getting out with the top down. The gorgeous fall weather throughout Johnson County has made this the perfect week. We are always listening to resident requests for ideas and inspiration on the outings that take place each week at our homes in Prairie Village and Leawood.

Everyone is getting in on the action to create a wonderful “moment of joy” for everyone! SeniorCare is proud to be able to get our residents out on the town and personalize our activities because we only care for up to eight residents in each of our Alzheimer’s care homes.

They have a lot of programs and activities for the residents, so they are not just sitting around staring at the walls. They also involve the residents in daily activities when possible. “My dad lived at SeniorCare Homes’ Waveny Park House for more than two years. It was a great experience for him and our family. When you walk into a SeniorCare house, you feel a wonderful positive energy and a sense of family. It’s not institutional. It doesn’t have that funky nursing home smell. It is a regular home.
