March 12, 2020

Dear SCH Families,

As we continue to monitor the potential impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we will proceed as though the threat of the virus is imminent in our community. Based on the recommendations of the CDC, we will be restricting access to our homes to protect the vulnerable population whom we serve.

Effective immediately, we are instituting a no-visitor policy.

All visits of a non-critical nature are suspended; only medically necessary visits are permitted for family members and outside healthcare providers. No other visitors, activities, non-essential therapies or vendors will be allowed into our homes.  Any approved visitors may be subject to a health screening before being permitted into one of our homes.

The safety and care of your loved ones is our highest priority.

Our leadership team will continue to monitor the situation and will advise on any changes to these precautions. We appreciate your willingness to help keep our residents and the team that cares for them safe and healthy.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to either myself or Jerry. We truly appreciate your support and respect of these guidelines. See full guidelines via the CDC’s website

Warmly,
