The Great Outdoors!

The beautiful weather brings our Sagamore ladies to the great outdoors. Residents enjoy the wonderful deck and the walking trails in the backyard. They like to spend hours enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

The ladies at Sagamore enjoy a fun game of bingo. They play to win; winners receive candy prizes!

The hotter temperatures have generated fresh tomatos, peppers and basil for everyone to enjoy. Our resident gardener has stepped up to ensure this year’s harvest provides enough veggies for fresh salads and gifts for families and staff.

“My mother has been a resident here for a year. We looked at several facilities in the area and found none that come close to creating such a safe and comfortable home environment. The house is spotless, well maintained inside and out. The garden and walking path are enjoyable year round. The residents are well cared for. Mom’s clothes, hair, nails always look great. They know her many stories and how to respond specifically to her when she is upset. They work with the family to keep her medications to a minimum. They sit with her, hold her hand and talk with her when she is confused or needing a little extra TLC. They are very welcoming to the family when we visit. “My dad lived at SeniorCare Homes’ Waveny Park House for more than two years. It was a great experience for him and our family. When you walk into a SeniorCare house, you feel a wonderful positive energy and a sense of family. It’s not institutional. It doesn’t have that funky nursing home smell. It is a regular home.
