SeniorCare Homes, which operates several small Alzheimer’s homes in neighborhood settings, has received another two zero-deficiency surveys from the Kansas Department on Aging and Disability Services.

Jerry Pullins, operator of SeniorCare Homes, said all four of his Alzheimer’s care centers are currently operating at zero deficiency status. Each location is surveyed once per year and zero-deficiency means the surveyors found nothing to mark down. Surveys cover environmental issues – such as cleanliness, resident safety, clinical management, resident care plans and satisfaction interviews with family, staff and residents.

Pullins said the company, which now has six consecutive years of zero-deficiency surveys to its credit, was “thrilled” with the most recent survey results.
